Five Dogs escancara feridas do sistema com riffs e revolta em novo EP "Falsos Profetas"

A banda Five Dogs acaba de lançar seu novo EP "Falsos Profetas". Com quatro faixas inéditas, o trabalho reforça a identidade crítica e combativa do grupo, combinando riffs pesados, letras afiadas e um som direto e sem concessões.

Com Falsos Profetas, a Five Dogs reafirma a veia contestadora já mostrada em Mundo Cão, mantendo firme sua postura crítica e consolidando seu espaço na cena independente com atitude, consistência e autenticidade.

O novo EP "Falsos Profetas" mantém a veia crítica de "Mundo Cão", mas parece ainda mais direto. O que motivou vocês a mergulhar fundo nesse discurso mais incisivo? Ambos foram concebidos através do descontentamento com o sistema que engessa as pessoas desde a educação básica até sua aposentadoria, suprimindo seus talentos natos com a promessa de uma sociedade melhor para todos, mas que na prática leva nossa juventude, nosso futuro a inércia, a alienação, jovens talentos perdidos por não terem seus dons, suas vocações valorizadas, sendo tolhidos e levados a entrarem na fila do que é esperado pelos que estão na situação. Falsos Profetas é o desabafo de quem passou por tudo isso (escola com método da herança militar, catequese e igreja evangélica) e não aceita pessoas usando a fé e a esperança do próximo em vantagem própria, é a tentativa de alertar nossos irmãos a não crer cegamente em quem usa livros sagrados para manipular, usando-os como ferramentas políticas. O poder ao povo está comprometido.

 “Lobotomia (Lobo em Pele de Cordeiro)” abre o EP de forma intensa. Como essa faixa surgiu e por que decidiram que ela seria a porta de entrada para o disco? Lobotomia retrata quem usa a fé alheia em proveito próprio, através da recorrência de pessoas se dobrando a argumentos vazios de um futuro melhor, gaugados em interpretações muitas vezes de predadores sem moral ou ética gritando Senhor, Senhor.... . Inicia o EP por apontar esses predadores, seja eles políticos, religiosos ou vigaristas comuns, ótima introdução para o conseguinte.

A música “Esperança” faz uma crítica explícita a promessas políticas vazias. Vocês veem a música como uma ferramenta de enfrentamento ou de reflexão? Sim, ferramenta de conscientização, propondo reflexão e busca por melhores condições, é imprescindível ter conhecimento das mazelas causadas por um sistema que favorece os legisladores em detrimento ao povo, podendo assim com a comoção pública alcançar o poder real da democracia, onde as necessidades da nação são priorizadas.

“Mensagem das Estrelas” traz um ponto de vista inusitado: uma crítica vinda de fora do planeta. O que inspirou essa abordagem e o que ela revela sobre o olhar da banda para o comportamento humano? A Terra está em transição de orbe de provas e expiações para mundo de regeneração, mudanças morais e espirituais estão acontecendo e pessoas com esse conhecimento podem se perder. Recebi esta mensagem por vias mediúnicas e o ser está lembrando aos trabalhadores da transição para colocar o ego de lado e se dedicar com entrega total, claro que é válido para todos nós que aqui estamos.

Lançar esse trabalho pela Electric Funeral Records reforça o vínculo com o underground. Como vocês enxergam o papel da cena independente hoje, e que espaço a Five Dogs quer ocupar nela?

A cena independente nos dá voz, considerando que a mídia direcionada trabalha para o empobrecimento cultural, onde o cabresto é forte. Dá espaço a contra cultura, onde podemos protestar contra um sistema político falido e ultrapassado, no qual o povo é esquecido e subjulgado enquanto poucos colhem os louros do trabalho alheio sem quaisquer preocupações, tão somente por ser institucional.

O selo Eletric Funeral abre portas para sonharmos com mudanças, levando ao ponto onde o povo estará realmente comandando o país através de representantes compromissados e não lobos travestidos de cordeiros que usurpam o potencial de nossa juventude e condenam nossos idosos a uma vida sem dignidade. É a voz de quem luta por um Brasil mais justo, de um povo oprimido, com a esperança de igualdade real, com investimentos voltados ao povo. Tem papel fundamental contra a alienação cultural e a Five Dogs anseia por passar sua mensagem para o maior número de pessoas possível, contribuindo assim para a conscientização de todos.

With Falsos Profetas, Five Dogs reaffirms the rebellious streak already shown in Mundo Cão, maintaining its critical stance and consolidating its space in the independent scene with attitude, consistency and authenticity.

The new EP "Falsos Profetas" maintains the critical streak of "Mundo Cão", but seems even more direct. What motivated you to delve deeper into this more incisive discourse? Both were conceived through discontent with the system that restricts people from basic education to retirement, suppressing their innate talents with the promise of a better society for everyone, but which in practice leads our youth, our future, to inertia, alienation, young talents lost because their gifts and vocations are not valued, being restricted and forced to join the queue of what is expected by those in the situation. False Prophets is the outburst of someone who went through all of this (school with the military heritage method, catechism and evangelical church) and does not accept people using the faith and hope of others for their own advantage. It is an attempt to warn our brothers not to blindly believe in those who use sacred books to manipulate, using them as political tools. The power of the people is compromised.

“Lobotomia (Lobo em Cudeiro)” (Lobo in Sheep’s Clothing) opens the EP with intensity. How did this track come about and why did you decide to make it the entry point for the album? Lobotomia portrays those who use other people’s faith for their own benefit, through the recurrence of people giving in to empty arguments about a better future, often gambled on interpretations of predators without morals or ethics, shouting “Lord, Lord...”. The EP begins by pointing out these predators, whether they are politicians, religious people or common swindlers, a great introduction to the following.

The song “Esperança” explicitly criticizes empty political promises. Do you see music as a tool for confrontation or reflection? Yes, a tool for raising awareness, proposing reflection and the search for better conditions. It is essential to be aware of the problems caused by a system that favors legislators to the detriment of the people, thus being able to achieve the real power of democracy, where the needs of the nation are prioritized, through public commotion.

“Message from the Stars” brings an unusual point of view: a critique from outside the planet. What inspired this approach and what does it reveal about the band’s view of human behavior? The Earth is in transition from an orb of trials and expiations to a world of regeneration, moral and spiritual changes are happening and people with this knowledge can get lost. I received this message through mediumship and the being is reminding workers in the transition to put their egos aside and dedicate themselves with total dedication, of course this is valid for all of us who are here.

Releasing this work through Electric Funeral Records reinforces the bond with the underground. How do you see the role of the independent scene today, and what space does Five Dogs want to occupy in it?

The independent scene gives us a voice, considering that the targeted media works to impoverish culture, where the halter is strong. It gives space to counterculture, where we can protest against a failed and outdated political system, in which the people are forgotten and subjugated while a few reap the rewards of the work of others without any concerns, simply because it is institutional.

The Eletric Funeral label opens doors for us to dream of change, leading to the point where the people will truly be in charge of the country through committed representatives and not wolves dressed as sheep who usurp the potential of our youth and condemn our elderly to a life without dignity. It is the voice of those who fight for a fairer Brazil, of an oppressed people, with the hope of real equality, with investments focused on the people. It plays a fundamental role in the fight against cultural alienation and Five Dogs hopes to pass its message to as many people as possible, thus contributing to raising awareness among all.
